AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Articles must be written in English (American or British style consistently).

  • The length of the manuscript should be 6,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and appendices.

  • Submissions must be uploaded via the journal’s Online Submission System (OJS).

  • Each manuscript will undergo a double-blind peer review process.


2. Manuscript Preparation

Structure of the Article

Authors are required to structure their manuscripts as follows:

  1. Title (concise, informative, max. 15 words)

  2. Abstract (150–200 words, followed by 3–5 keywords)

  3. Introduction (research background, problem statement, research objectives, novelty)

  4. Literature Review / Theoretical Framework

  5. Research Method (type, approach, data collection, analysis)

  6. Results and Discussion (findings, analysis, comparison with previous studies)

  7. Conclusion (summary, implications, recommendations)

  8. References (APA style, minimum 30 references, at least 50% from recent 5 years and indexed journals)


3. Technical Requirements

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.

  • Headings: Use clear hierarchy (Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3).

  • Tables & Figures: Must be numbered consecutively and accompanied by captions.

  • Quotations: More than 40 words should be indented as block quotes.

  • Referencing Style: APA 7th edition. Example:

    • In-text citation: (Ali, 2021; Smith & John, 2020)

    • Reference list: Ali, A. (2021). Marriage in contemporary Islamic law. Journal of Legal Studies, 15(2), 123–135.


4. Ethical Statement

  • Authors must ensure originality; plagiarism will result in rejection (similarity index <20%).

  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted materials.

  • All co-authors must have significantly contributed to the research.


5. Submission & Processing Fee

  • This journal charges the following author fees.

    With the payment of this fee, the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 4 weeks.

    Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
    If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.


6. Review Process

  • Each manuscript will be evaluated by two independent reviewers under a double-blind process.

  • The editorial decision (accept, minor revision, major revision, reject) will be based on reviewers’ recommendations.

  • Authors are required to revise and resubmit within the given deadline.
